Compared to destination ski resorts, The Summit at Snoqualmie cannot compare. The elevation gain is not that impressive, and the relatively low altitude means that the snow quality is not always good. However, you can zoom up to Snoqualmie Pass at 70 mph on I-90, and in less than an hour you are ready to strap on the boards. There... More

We came here as part of a morale event during a weekday (to escape the rush). It is a couple of hours drive from Seattle. We got there in the AM, got the necessary instructions, grabbed a tube and off I went downhill. It had not snowed much in the last week of Jan and the temperature wasn't too low... More

We live on the east side and find the summit to be super convenient to get kids few ski lessons in the winters. It is a short one hour drive and ski slopes are not super crowded and have lots of kids and beginners of all ages practicing. I would go to Snoqualmie for lessons and practice and then Stevens... I took my two boys here for ski lessons. Very popular spot for people from Seattle. There are multiple ski schools with lots of kids. The place is pretty crowed during weekend. There is night skiing also but I haven't tried yet.

I just taught my daughter to ski. I decided on a few lessons at Mini Mountain, then one night at Snoqualmie, and a night at Stevens. I think that's an excellent plan for experience and costs. Mini Mtn teaches good basics of snowplow & turning without any falling. Snoqualmie is close, tons of parking, only cost $27 for child &... More

i am a little biased, i have been skiing here for 38 years, but this place has some very nice ski runs and can get conditions to rival any other ski area if you time it right. Skiing has become extremely expensive, so has here, but at least it is still somewhat reasonable. I still think one of their best... More

I spent over 100 bucks just in passes to take family tubbing. This is the most disorganized thing that I have seen. They heard like cattle in to the area take up a bunch of time with a "safety brief" hence you sign a waiver that says the same thing. To many people for the area and employees are just... More

Ive been teaching my daughter to ski. This place ranks very high in my book of hills to teach someone how to ski or board. The terrain, slope and facility are spot on. Ive been to many ski resorts, this one impressed me if your teaching or learning.

Looong lines. We only slid 6 times in the two hour span of our session. As my son put it "this seems like an expensive way to just stand in line". We paid in advance expecting that a reservation would allow for plenty of tubing. Nope. We gave up 15 minute before the end of our session because we no... More

We booked out a 2 hour tubing slot on the weekend with another family and our 3 kids for our first trip there. The traffic up to the pass was terrible, as it was snowing and we went 10/mph the last 5 miles, which made us 20 minutes late. We called the # for tubing to ask if our spots... More
