Loved the wine tasting!

Spokan is an easy to get around, easy to walk around city. Where were the bikes? Be sure to see the waterfalls, museum, and don't miss visiting several wine tasting opportunities!

If you enjoy rampant homelessness, drug users and abusers everywhere and not a decent place to eat then this is the place for you. I grew up in NYC and I actually feel safer in NY at 2am than I do in downtown Spokane. City needs some work.

Everything is walk-able, if you stay downtown...we recommend the Brown Mansion, due to its superb locale and luxury with FUN inside. The mall is fully covered, making rainy weather no problem...and the stores and happy people both there and at the downtown venues (winery, river park, and restaurants) make for a perfect vaca.

The corner Main Market has great organic section including hard to find ginger, plump tumeric and garlic. All... More

Our shopping goals took us east of downtown and a bit north for adventures on Division, Trent and Sprague. These areas of town have a tired, run down feeling with the old narrow viaducts giving one pause while contemplating earthquake safety. There were new, upscale areas adjacent to the downtrodden areas, with no in between. Street navigation is difficult unless... More

We went to Spokane for the first time and it was fabulous! Great Restaurants, shopping, things to do, walking trails, hotels, etc. Not a busy city like San Francisco or New York and we loved that we could drive or walk around comfortably. Would love to go back again!
