Since I was little i love Manito Park and Duncan Gardens! I am so glad now that I am a grandma that the caretakers have so beautifully preserved and cared for these gardens so year after year we can come back and enjoy them!

No entrance fee. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon and enjoy a picnic. Surprised to find an eatery on site. Japanese gardens amazing. Each garden is spectacular. Visit the admin building first to obtain the walking tour map - we discovered it later on.

Their rose garden is one of the best I’ve ever seen! So fragrant and so many different types, all labeled and very well maintained. The conservatory is small but again very well maintained and marked. Beautiful and peaceful Japanese garden.

Make sure you stop by here. Stunning!!! My wife and I loved it. Lots of variety and things to see, flowers, fountains, a Japanese Garden, it is truly a must see place. In winter, there is a pretty cool hill for sledding also!!

The day was warm and having picked up food to take to the park, we enjoyed a quiet setting, with families in the distance having a great time. It was nice seeing children and parents playing together.

We always include Manito Park when we’re playing tour guide to visitors. Our favorite times of year to visit is Spring and Fall. The Japanese Garden is the highlight. People love to leisurely stroll through and photographers love it. Be sure to check it out...More

This park is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful flowers, pond with ducks. Great family park. Wear walking shoes because this park is huge. Different types of flowers everywhere.

I've been going to this garden for over thirty years and it continues to be a treasure. It is well maintained and has many and varied attractions. They most recent major improvement was to upgrade the water feature, by paving a path around the perimeter...More

I like this place in the early hours, quiet, a little chill, maybe a bit of dew on the grass. Great rose garden, just beautiful plantings all around.

Sorry I didn't see this question right away. Yes dogs are allowed in the park but MUST be on a leash. Thank you for respecting the other park visitors by not letting your dog off leash in the park.
