We went with friends, family and dogs and we all had a blast. The beach, the dog park, hiking the trails. We’re planning on going back soon to see more. Probably when the weather warms up a little.

The view is wonderful of the puget sound. The restaurants are a nice place to get a bit to eat. I love to water the water front and enjoy the fresh breeze. This area is wonderful for photos of family and friends.

If you are not willing to walk down to the beaches and hidden spots, the 5 mile loop is good way to have nice views and enjoy the calm of the forest.

We visited this area in December so there wasn't anything blooming but the scenery and views were still lovely. Be sure to visit Fort Nisqually and take the five mile drive to see various scenic views of the Seattle area.
