The view is wonderful of the puget sound. The restaurants are a nice place to get a bit to eat. I love to water the water front and enjoy the fresh breeze. This area is wonderful for photos of family and friends.
If u haven't gone, you really should. Point Defiance is the 2nd largest city park in the U.S., Grand Central in N.Y. being the first. 760 acres.
Awesome trails, gardens, picnic areas, the Zoo and the new aquarium.

Point Defiance Park provides all sorts of walking/hiking opportunities. Paths are well maintained and offer many options. Great winter and summer!

We visited this area in December so there wasn't anything blooming but the scenery and views were still lovely. Be sure to visit Fort Nisqually and take the five mile drive to see various scenic views of the Seattle area.
