It's a shame cause I had high hopes for this venue. Very over priced for the amount of exhibits that they have. Although they are lovely, just didn't feel you got your money's worth.

What a wonderful place to spend the afternoon! The exhibits were awesome and watching the 'artist in residence' creating a huge human heart was fun! I especially enjoyed the kid-inspired exhibit! A must see if you're in the area!

The quality of the glass and exhibits were very high but there wasn't enough of them for a $15 entry fee

We needed something to do on a rainy day and a friend said this would be worth the time. The glass artwork was beautiful, but I especially enjoyed watching the artists at work. There were 3 projects in the works and a narrator explaining what was going on. You could sit in the seating area or walk around above the... More

Truly worth a visit! It's amazing how long you can be captivated by the glass blowing and craft work done by the artists here. It really helps you appreciate the exhibits in the other half of the museum. There are spectacular pieces of both modern and traditional glass work...not just vases and other containers. Parking is easy, in the garage... More

Don't know where to start or end. If you only go one place in Tacoma, this must be the place. The timeline through history is a wonderful read. The glass working demonstration is fascinating and educating. The gift shop is a destination onto its self.

Our visit to Tacoma's Museum of Glass was most enjoyable for the entire family, and we spend a fun afternoon taking in their marvelous exhibits of lovely artwork (some of which were quite whimsical :) that included pieces crafted in the early 1900s. There is also an auditorium in which visitors can view "artists in residence" creating new works, plus... More

The Museum of Glass was such an incredibly pleasant surprise. My group of 6 loved the time we spent at the museum. Words can't adequately describe our experience. Do yourself a favor, go! I don't think you will be disappointed and you very well might be thrilled that you did. And don't be in a hurry. It takes a long... More
