It was very expensive for what your saw. The demo of blowing of glass was not done very well in explanation of what they were doing.

This is a small museum with two main exhibit halls. What is nice about this museum is that you get exposure to other glass artists other than Chihuly, which is who you mostly hear and see, especially in Tacoma. They also have exhibits that highlight...More

Didn't know of this museum until an art excursion out of Chicago...and I live in Las Vegas! Toured with a small group, and this Museum of Glass was just exceptional. It is a Do-Not-Miss Experience. Now I know why blown glass is so expensive; the...More

A bit overpriced to get in, limited things to look at & do. We found the place a bit "cold" for our tastes, even though it's warmed by fire! It's an attraction worth seeing once, but really nothing to get excited about to go back...More

We were there to see an Italian visiting artist, who was in the process of developing some of the most complex, and beautiful glass artwork I have ever seen. We've been there several times, and each experience is unique, based on the artist that is...More

I must admit that I don't "get" some of the displays. Would like to see more "Wow" displays. The hallway with kids art is always fun. Viewing the glass blowers in the Hot Shop is a fascinating experience and worth the price of admission. Very...More

The Hot Shop was AWESOME! Had the opportunity to spend some time there and watch some artists make blown glass pieces. Amazing art! And the kids section was adorable - such talent - better than my husband and I thought we could have done. Exhibits...More

There is an admission into the museum which will include the hot shop. Sorry, I don't really remember the fee but you should be able to check on line.
