A friend and I happened to be passing by on our way to the West side as part of our August 2015 road trip and thought, why not? The roads getting to the park itself were a bit rough, so take it slow once you leave the highway. I would also recommend bringing your own food/water and making sure you've... More

Happened to be "passing by" and figured why not? Not exactly a spot on the map that we'll pass by often. Had heard Palouse Falls mentioned in the same category as Snoqualmie Falls, Multnomah Falls, etc... well deserved comparisons! The falls and surrounding landscape are stunning. Views are available a minute or two from parking, literally. And then numerous trails... More

my wife and i have been here in the summer and found it a little too hot and a little too crowded. This time, we made the trek from Richland at the beginning of November. Weather could possibly be an issue doing it at this time of year but ours was perfect with clear skies and 58 degrees.( a stop... More

Easy to see the falls with a short walk from the car. Of the three of us only one walked down and around the falls. The views and photos are amazing!

The main waterfall was just a few hundred feet from the parking lot .. so convenient! There are smaller waterfalls as well but those take a bit of work to get to. Very beautiful and very clean!

The iconic Palouse Falls that has been deemed the official waterfall of Washington State is not to be missed. There are trails aplenty at Palouse Falls State Park with outstanding views of the waterfall fit for the whole family. It is a spectacular waterfall embraced by stunning rock formations in eastern Washington. It is off the beaten trek for most, but... More

We enjoyed stopping at Palouse Falls as it is a beautiful. The bathrooms were not bad. The park itself isn't that great. It was dry, dusty and lots of bees.

We've lived out here 22 yrs and never heard of this falls until I saw it on a Top 10 list of waterfalls you should see in the US. It was literally in the middle of no where. Definitely a destination site. You need a Discover Pass to visit the area. You can buy there for $10/day or get an... More

We were stunned by the steady stream of cars gong in and out of the park. (On Labor Day weekend, we had to park a quarter mile away in the overflow lot.) And when we walked down towards the canyon, we still couldn't see what all the fuss was about. But then we got close the the fence and realized... More
