I've visited a few times now. The distillery staff is always pleasant and very talkative. They enjoy talking about the wonderful product as well as the grounds of the distillery. I recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, unique spot to visit and that likes lemonchello, among other offerings.

Once you find the Bloomery Plantation Distillery, you'll want to go back. Just outside Charles Town, WV, you drive up a slightly rutty graveled road up to a clearing with a couple of buildings in front of you; the older, bright yellow one is the one to go in. There is a bar just inside where you can engage in... More

Found the distillery different but interesting. The selection not the usually spirits. Some interesting tastes and we purchased several. The staff were both engaging and friendly. Watch for signs a little hard to find. Will Return

Wonderful stop on our tour. Everyone had the opportunity to taste every flavor. The staff was great and offered recipes for most of the flavors. Definitely worth the stop. Allow about an hour. Have already recommended them to family and friends in the area.

Great place to go for sampling cordials. They are free and unlimited. Went with a friend during a craft tour and they were on the tour. The young Australian speaker was wonderfully witty and got a lot of chuckles. She made the whole experience wonderful.

This is a great place to visit and it's a nice break from the wineries of Virginia. All tastings are free. The original drink is Limoncello, an Italian Liqueur. But there are all types of variations. You can taste them all. The host usually has drink mixing ideas along with uses for cooking. The only problem is that because of... More

Love this place. Staff is great and knowledgable. Quite the experience if you like to enjoy alcohol in its sweetest form. They have done a wonderful job of combining flavors and marketing their unique take on an Italian classic, Lemonchello! Believe me, they take your palate to flavor town and do more than lemons, which they grow on the property,... More

I've been two times and both were enjoyable. Very laid back and fun. I do recommend bringing food or eat before you come as there are quite a few to taste! Tours are now done on every half hour, unlike my first visit where our group was seated and had our own server do our tasting. I think they are... More
