Very pretty state capitol and easy to access. The rotunda is especially beautiful and everyone was very friendly. I'm still kind of confused as to the gold leaf and who thought that was a good use of taxpayer money, but overall a nice visit.

The building is beautiful. Architecture and layout of building is as nice as any capitols we visited. We could not get a guided tour but there was enough information available to self guide.

We love touring the State Capitol. If you appreciate historical architecture or just history, this is a great place to spend an afternoon.

As noted many times in previous reviews, this is a great capital building and worth a visit if you are in town.

We have visited several State Capitols over the years and we enjoy the history and information, including the architectural details. We were lucky in that there were only 4 of us on the tour, and the people in the Capitol complex were all very friendly.

Beautiful buildings. The great laden dome was amazing. The war memorial was nicely done with life like statues.

I walk all the time at the State Capitol with my dog. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. There are no thru roads so you can walk safely with pets and family. I suggest going to the cultural center

One of the most beautiful capitol buildings that you will ever seen. It was nicer even than the US Capitol. The free guided tour was fine, but the building itself was the highlight.

There is a museum in the capitol complex across the way from the capitol building itself that has activities for children. Just ask at the front desk when you go in.
