I've been coaching middle school golf for 7 years now and there is not a better beginner, short course out there for these young golfers to start their games. It's challenging yet fair. Even for the veterans of golf it offers challenging distances and greens.

Coonskin park has a little something for everyone. There is a golf course, fishing pond, small skate park, playground, trails and tennis courts. It has a driving range to practice your swings. If you are into just watching the ducks, the pond is a must visit. Some walked up to us looking for food I'm assuming. We have yet to... More

The course is a public course so the fees are reasonable. Small enough to walk the course and carry you own bag. It is family friendly. The driving ranges is up the hill and easy to get to.

I have taken my Middle School golf team there for years and the course helps with short game, it's what all beginners and amateurs need help doing. But Coonskin offers a lot more. Parks and trails and a stadium for soccer and lax. Tennis courts as well as a driving range. It's fun for all

Everything about coonskin needs an upgrade. Pool, golf, park, walkways. The county really needs to come and take a look at this place and give them some funds to get some of their equipment out of the 90's.

I had a wonderful experience using Coonskin for my wedding venue. The events coordinator at Coonskin is named Brad, he was so helpful, he probably helped me problem solve at least 10 times & he was very patient with all of my questions! The rest of the staff was very pleasant and very helpful! I would reccomend Coonskin to anyone... More

A beginners course for sure. I take my middle school golf team there for practices in the spring as I carry a club and just work my GIR and chipping.

We drove through the park on Mothers Day weekend, there wasn't one picnic area open:) Was so great to see everyone out enjoying the day. The park has a golf course, pool, play ground, several picnic shelters, Great place to spend the day.
