On our way traveling in to our hotel, we first stopped at the Information Center and we were glad we did. The gentleman working helped us with our interests and was very helpful in identifying this favorite restaurants. Recommend you stop here for your vacation entertainment needs.

We blame Brian for helping us have a wonderful experience hiking in 3 different parks in the area. He listened closely to what we were looking for and provided excellent recommendations and maps.

As noted by others, this is a must-stop for folks planning to visit Tucker County, Canaan Valley, Blackwater falls and other nearby sights. Great people, great information. Serious hikers will want to get their $12 trail map. Everything else there... no charge.

We meet with the clever and highly skilled Mountaineers, who are the Blessed Heart and Soul of the Leaf Peepers Festival. And the Lass is apologetic for the “state of affairs at the property;" we cannot find fault.

Our view: Upon arrival at Davis goto Tucker County Information Center.

These elves are genius! The lot of them!

The Potomac Highlands: What a difference from autumn 2016 to autumn 2017; in 2017 there is Glorious Autumn Foliage. The foliage is stunning: gold, green, red, purple, yellow, orange,….
And the Potomac Highlands include Spruce Knob Blackwater Falls; Canaan Valley, Seneca Rocks; and Dolly Sods.

Stop by here soon as you're in Tucker County. The best place on the mountain to stock up on local brochures and good advice.
