I have wanted to do the bridgewalk for years and the opportunity finally presented itself and I couldn't be happier! It was absolutely fantastic! Our tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor! The place to meet was very easily accessible and easy to find! I love being up high so never felt afraid, but... When we saw this attraction my husband immediately wanted to go. I was terrified. I would definitely recommend doing this. It was actually quite peaceful and once I got on the bridge walk all my nerves left me. It was a little off putting when it would shake and vibrate with the traffic crossing the bridge. The view from that... More

Being a little scared of heights, I was leery of how this walk would go. However, it turned out to be an incredible adventure. First off, our guide (a young lad who has been doing tours forever) put us all at ease about the height. He addressed it immediately in a professional and kind manner making the issue almost disappear.... More

On the third weekend of October the second highest bridge in the USA is closed to traffic and upwards of 100,000 spectators take a stroll 876 feet up to admire the views. But, the truly unique feature is watching hundreds of BASE jumpers freefall off the Bridge toward the river below and open their parachutes for landings on the river... More

We where with a group of 9 , I told everyone to dress really warm because we where up so high , glad we did , the wind was really kicking up there !! It's a little pricey but well worth it !! My only complaint is if u are in a big group and in the back it's hard... More

Words cannot do justice to this incredible bridgewalk. I cannot say anything that hasn't been said before; amazing, unbelievable, exciting, a one-of-a-kind adventure for sure. I was wound up before the hike and couldn't "come down" for a day afterwards - the adrenaline rush is unbelievable! We were blessed to experience everything while on the walk. It started out hot... We decided to walk this after 2 days of rafting, and we're glad we did! Breathtaking views, interesting information about the bridge, and a wonderful opportunity for a relatively safe but challenging adventure. Our tour guide was a fun, interesting, kind, enjoyable man who led the way, and the bus driver was a lovely person as well, who did a... More

While in Fayetteville photographing landscape, we decided to take a daring walk under the New River Gorge Bridge. The catwalk was under the bridge and you are harnessed in and linked to a cable to prevent any unnecessary mishaps (of course, sunglasses and cell phones may be lost if not grasped appropriately). No only will you get a once in... More

My husband and I really enjoyed The Bridge Walk; we had a friendly and knowledgeable guide in Jay. We felt well prepared when we got out under the bridge. We felt safe the entire tour, despite the 24 inches that our feet were on. Our timing was perfect in that we saw several kayakers and rafters going down the rapids.... More
