I participated in the Wild Flower Tour at the Arboretum. It was amazing! Our guide was a professor at WVU. I can't beleive we have such a wonderful destination so close.

Core Arboretum is beautiful and well maintained. There are lots of signs to describe the different types of trees, and all the different types bring along lots of different bird species. Great place to visit in the summer and fall. Trails can be a little...More

I've been to the Core Arboretum in spring, summer, and fall and it needs some work. There are a few nice areas right at the entrance but the trails are very raw and not much work has been done cultivating sites within the trail system....More

I just left here. I wanted to do lile a 30 minute walk. Great place to do this. It is clean and has some great trails. Bring some sturdy shoes as some of the hills are really steep.

91 acres of trees and somewhat steep trails to riverbank, well placed benches. numerous signs describing geology and trees. Bird watching pamphlet. Good for exercising dogs. Nicely maintained. No bathrooms.

Our family enjoys taking brief hikes here at least a couple times a year. Easy access and open, easy to walk trails make it great for kids- or just a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of Morgantown traffic.
