Reasonably priced museum with many newspaper accounts and historical pieces of memorabilia to see. Movie outfits and props also there to see. Small museum but very nice. Could use air conditioning turned on high. Very muggy and warm. Nice gift shop attached.

This is a small museum, but well laid out and tells the story of the events from Nov 1966 thru Dec 1967 ending with the collapse of the Silver Bridge. The Mothman is still a mystery. The museum has some of the original letters that...More

The admission to the museum was only $3. There's a lot of information presented and lots of picture opportunities. The issue is that if this kind of information isn't your thing, there isn't much to see. You'd almost be better off just taking a picture...More

This could have been a cheap cash grab but it isn't. It's well researched, well presented, and overall wonderful. It's also very cheap to get in and the gift shop offers a bunch of different designs and items rather than repeating one design that many...More

The owners painstakingly put together a fabulous place. From original newspaper clippings, to actual memorabilia, to the room where the film runs. I expected little and it exceeded expectations in every way...spent hours here...the gift shop is well stocked...a fabulous place.

You will never find a museum like this anywhere else! This museum takes the visitor back in time to when the mothman terrorized the small town of Point Pleasant, WV. Did the Mothman really exist? Or was he just a made up hoax? You Decide.

Depends on the kid...if your kids are bright and well-behaved, they will enjoy it. If they are ill-mannered and have the attention span of a knat, they will ruin the experience for everyone that is there.
