We walked here from out hotel. About a fifteen minute walk. We loved the history and the mound and the area around it. As the evening gets darker, the crowd gets a little sketchy.

I have visited this mound several times. It is a quick visit and there are small restaurants in walking distance.

Basically a mound of earth with steps to the top. There could be descriptive placards describing the site and the indians that occupied the area. When and where they went and what they did while living in the area. But alas, no information what so...More

Native American Indians were in our city over 1,000 years ago, they buried their families in the miund The Smithsonian Institution excavated the Mound in 1987-88

Everyone should see this and learn the history behind this landmark. This is very unusual for the location. An unexpected walk in history.
