We walked here from out hotel. About a fifteen minute walk. We loved the history and the mound and the area around it. As the evening gets darker, the crowd gets a little sketchy.

This is a great place to visit, just because it is unique. There are usually places to park any time of the day and there are steps where you can walk to the top of the mound. There used to be many indian mounds in...More

I have visited this mound several times. It is a quick visit and there are small restaurants in walking distance.

Everyone should see this and learn the history behind this landmark. This is very unusual for the location. An unexpected walk in history.

Great information hosts lots of local festivals. Kids love to climb the mound and look out from the top. Nice part of the South Charleston Downtown area. Very close to lots of shops and restaurants.

This is a big historic spot in a little part of the city. The restaurants around it are pretty good and the parking is easily accessible. Read the historic markers and soak in the meaning--- It won't take long!
