There were some very beautiful overlooks on the Mississippi and Wisconsin Rivers that were an easy walk. There were also some steep stairs to other views. We took a strenuous hike along the bluffs, down through the forest, then along the Wisconsin River and back...More

This is what a State Park is meant to be. Great views, outstanding hiking trails and just beautiful facilities. The Wisconsin River meets the Mississippi here and the views are just fantastic. The ridge trails are fantastic and the caves are worth hiking to. All...More

First time visiting and I lament not having gone sooner. Beautiful vistas, great photo opportunities, and lovely camp sites we plan to use in the future. It was a cool overcast day, making it great for catching pictures of the eagles flying around the bluffs....More

We camped here for 2 nights with friends, with 5 kids ranging from 18 months to 14 years. I would highly recommend the ridge campsites. #125, 127, 131, and 133 are amazing with a great view ( although you may not want to be so...More

I rolled into Wyalusing State Park on a Monday evening in August. I was surprised to find someone still in the office. The woman helped me select a secluded campsite in Homestead Campground, which she said was the quieter campground. Great! I’d checked the online...More

We are walkers - this is a great Park for walkers/hikers. There is also camping, but I don't know anything about the facilities for that. We did see a large area for sports - basketball, tennis, baseball/softball, volleyball. We stopped at the Park Office and...More

Did not come to camp or picnic. We came for the view. As senior residents of the state it only cost $3.00 for the day, even though we were there but briefly. We intended to go on to Nelson Dewey State Park but... The heat,...More

Beautiful park! The campground was quiet and relatively clean. The bathrooms got a little gross by Sunday morning after a busy weekend but I think that happens in busy places. While there, we walked the Immigrant Trail, took the canoe trail twice, kayaked down the...More

Uniquely situated on a bluff, the campsites offer little privacy on Wisconsin Ridge but unbelievable sunsets. Kayaks at the concessions are in rough shape and children under 18 aren't allowed to rent for some reason. But the water trail is worth it. Be sure to...More

I will never stay at a Wisconsin State Park again! your fees and fine print are deceptive! $9.95 transaction fee? really??? I paid 50.00 for 2 days of camping, then got to the gate and was told I had to pay 11.00 per vehicle per...More

We felt the campsites were quite small (at least the ridge ones), smaller than typical in other state campgrounds we've been to. Our firepit (the same as most it seemed) was right next to the road, so little privacy if you... More
