We've been camping at places closer to home, but decided to go back to Wyalusing for a long weekend. We'd forgotten what a great spot this is. Some of the campsites have excellent views and the facilities are pretty good (for a Wisconsin state park)....More

The campsites along the bluff's edge, while mostly open to each other, are spaced appreciably far apart. All eyes will be out over the magnificent valley anyway. The night view of Prairie Du Chien, the mist coming up from the river and the distant rolling...More

This is a nice state park, I had a class trip here in the 6th grade. Lots of hikes to be found. The telescope/sky view area is really interesting.

We have camped here a number of times. We are never dissapointed. The only suggestion that I can offer is to make certain that you put all food away at night, preferably in the tent, camper or car. There seems to be oodles of racoons...More

We visited this park last October for several days and it was a wonderful experience. We camped out in a tent and had more family in a nearby campsite. The best views by far are in the Wisconsin Ridge camp area, though not all of...More

Wyalusing is always a favorite spot for my wife and for camping, primarily because some of the views are spectacular, the landscape varies widely from rolling hills to sandstone bluffs to prairie, and it's a great spot for birdwatching. Being at the confluence of the...More

Our family loves to camp in Wisconsin. We tried Wyalusing for the first time and really enjoyed it. It is located HIGH up on a bluff that overlooks the confluence of the Wisconsin & Mississippi Rivers. Spectacular view! We were lucky enough to score a...More

We felt the campsites were quite small (at least the ridge ones), smaller than typical in other state campgrounds we've been to. Our firepit (the same as most it seemed) was right next to the road, so little privacy if you... More
