I went to have a walk at the Devil's State Park with some friends. As soon as We got there, my soul changed totally. I felt inspired by the natural environment and the big stones. You can clearly feel and sense the trees, the brunches and the soil warm by the big sun. Beside, it is easy, and sometime challenging... More

This state park is breathtaking. The lake is surrounded by rocky cliffs. We did the east bluff trail which offered several great views of the lake. It was a bit buggy (but thats nature) so make sure you wear your bug spray!

What an awesome adventure into the geological significance of the Mid-Western glaciers that carved into the Baraboo Hills millions of years ago. Devil's lake is great for a one-two day family vacation. Don't have children? Bring your fur babies instead. Devils lake allows dogs to hike most of the trails. However, the steep bluffs during a hot day can be... More

My son and I had a wonderful, but strenuous, 5 mile run through the park. A great loop is taking both the west and east bluff trails, ending with a dip in the lake for a great cool down.

Devil's Lake State Park has something for everyone. Great scenery, hiking, boating, swimming, among some of the options. I remember when I was a kid I learned how to windsurf on the lake. Hiking to the top of the bluffs provide great views, and checking out the rock formations are also some of the favorite features.

This was my first trip ever to this state Park. I can see why many say it is their favorite in the state. Very beautiful views. Trails are a good workout as well. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful state park with trails for all availability levels (including one along the shoreline that's wheelchair accessible!) It's been a destination spot for day-hikers, campers, swimmers, kayakers/canoers, divers, and rock climbers since I moved to this part of Wisconsin almost two decades ago, and is still one of my favorite summer destinations. I even got married on the South Shore... More

Beautiful park and lots to do from renting a canoe to hiking around the lake. The beach is very nice. Only downfall is the lack of parking if only going for the day, so arrive early.

We were there during a weekday in April so it was not busy. Reviews on various sites indicated this park gets very busy on nice weekends and parking is difficult. The lake is pretty. A railroad track (not sure if it is active) runs right between the parking lot and the lake. Many of the trails are shown as difficult.... More
