Parfrey's Glen has long been a favorite location to visit. The hike from the parking lot is about 0.7 miles. The trail is easy to moderate until you enter the upper portion which is a narrow gorge. This upper part requires climbing around or over...More

Plan to walk in water and scramble some small and huge boulders. The gorge is beautiful and unique, the waterfall at the end is so worth climbing over the boulders and stomping through mud. Don't forget your bug spray.

Excellent for sure! Beautiful walk to the waterfall but can be treacherous if you don't pay attention. Past a certain point it's no longer part of the Glen and you will be in water, walking on rocks and climbing boulders to get to the last...More

The canyon portion is about a 15 minute walk from the parking lot down a trail. There is a spot where you will need to hop rocks over a shallow creek. After this point, you are about a minute away. If you have water shoes,...More

Wonderful walk through the woods! Layer up just in case. Trees, ferns, flowers, dells can all be found during a short, peaceful, nearly perfect hike.
