Took my 4 year old and 7 year old boys on a camping trip during the last week of September. Decent campground very nice and helpful staff and rangers. All campsites have varying levels of seclusion based on elevation. Defiantly heard road noise all night. Very close to The dells which allowed for lots of additional activities. If you take... More

We've spent a family weekend camping, hiking and canoeing at Mirror Lake near the Dells. Scenic hiking and canoeing are easy. Renting a canoe or kayak is very easy (first come first serve) They have lots of them in sizes for solo or tandem, a youth size for age 6-11 to handle on his/her own while other family members rent... Took family (18months, 3 yr old, wife) on a Sunday morning before leaving Baraboo. Looks like some nice campsites and had nice view of the lake from the small playground. Need to have state park pass to enter, but there are several state parks nearby including Devil's Lake, which is awesome.

Visited Mirror Lake State Park for the first time and really enjoyed the park. There are lots of great trails to walk and the sites are a great size. The only downside is that you can hear the freeway most of the time.

I've been to the Baraboo/Dells area plenty of times but this is my first time visiting this park. Very nice park. Beautiful trails, all marked accordingly. ( Easy, moderate, hard) Didn't get to see much of the Lake itself tho. Tried driving down the road some to pick up another trail ( we had already spent a good 3 hours... More

This park is close to the WI Dells and is a nice place to get outside in nature a bit. The hikes are pretty easy. Some go near the lake. Nice picnic areas, beach, playground near the beach. The lake itself can get kind of scummy for swimming. You can hear highway noise in some parts of the park which... More

Beautiful lake and very relaxing. Enjoy the trails and sit by the lake for a break. One of the best places for cross country skiing in the winter. Such beauty on the outskirts of the Dells.
