Childhood hang ou

Lots of stuff for kids to do. Paul Bunyon camp train engines swings slides. There were paths in the woods when I was a kid.

Ive been going there since I was a toddler. Its so beautiful to look over half moon lake and the playgrounds are so much fun. It does get pretty busy in the summer though.

Lots of things for kids--two great kids museums, playgrounds, trails. We were sorry the train rides weren't running. In peak summer they should run them every day.

Our 4 year old loves coming here. He keeps asking when we can go back again. Lots of stuff for kids of all ages! The train in the summer months is a blast for younger kids too! We also love going to baseball games here in the summer! The bathroom as could be a bit cleaner though!

What a great community park. Football, Baseball (Hank Aaron played here), 4th of July fireworks, train rides in the summer, logging camp as well as the Chippewa Valley Museum. Check with the Visitors Bureau for a full list of activities. And how about a nice picnic in the pines overlooking half moon lake.

Lots of strolling potential - marsh, pond, wooded, and all accessible by car, bike or foot. A lovely baseball/football venue. A local museum (with a genuine vintage soda fountain, yes please!) And a cool small-gauge railroad, operated by enthusiastic afficionados, in the warmer months. Playgrounds and picnic areas. All delightful.

Largest park in the city. Good fishing, two playgrounds, nice museum with ice cream parlor, Football and Baseball fields, and train rides in the summer. Lots of wonderful spots for picnics as well. The park can be quite busy during the summer.
