Very good actors! Funny shows! We've seen many here and loved them all. It is so nice to sit outside under the stars in beautiful Penninsula State Park in Door County. Bring a blanket along in to sit on or cover up and enjoy the show.

My family enjoyed the melodrama last summer very much! I had low expectations for a melodrama but it turned out to be very entertaining and well-performed. The place is very popular so get tickets early. Not cheap but nothing is. It's outdoors but they provide mosquito repellent and there are many bathroom facilities.

This was a really fun outdoor theater with a surprisingly good production. Last minute choice to do. Super fun. We were glad we did it

I've been a supporter of zach theatre in Austin for decades and my expectations weren't high when I visited this site. But I was pleasantly surprised by the local actors and story content. I loved it. It added so much to the door county experience. I will return. The setting was beautiful. Just be aware of others using bug spray.... More

You drive out in the woods. Park your car. You begin your walk, over hill, over dale and there is a group of people accompanying you. After about quarter mile or less you arrive. It is "Woodsy, rustic". The fragrance of freshly popped corn is in the air, Yummmm! There are booths selling items of memorabilia AND bug spray!! You... More

We saw the play The 39 Steps by Alfred Hitchcock. There were 4 actors playing many many parts. They added a lot of humor to the play, along with the mystery. The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the play. Before the play, there was an outside bonfire and you sat and enjoyed the view of the lake. The auditorium is... More

While we always enjoy positive reviews, please note that this review is not for our theater. "The 39 Steps" was produced and performed at Peninsula Players Theatre, also in Fish Creek, WI. We hope you can enjoy one of our shows on your next trip to Door County! More

These shows are sometimes cheesy but always a great time and a great family event. My family goes to one show per summer and have never been disappointed. Our favorite has been Bing, the Cherry Musical. My brother's favorite was Strings Attached.

We were looking forward to an "Escanaba in the Moonlight” type parity on Northern WI deer hunting. The reviews for Guys and Does looked good and we had high expectations for a self-produced off-broadway show. The theater was gorgeous (attached to the local school). Guys and Does was a 3 person play with a piano player. It started out OK... More

Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the show. There are different levels of humor in each of our shows and this one does push to boundaries of reality. Please do try to take in another one of our shows, perhaps by other writers, sometime soon! Popular Broadway shows like "Wicked" and "Cats" also use the device of magical... More

And If Elected, a 3-person performance about American politics throughout the years, was playing in the historic Gibralter Town Hall in Fish Creek during our visit to Door Co. I purchased tickets knowing there were no assigned seats. We arrived 10 minutes after the doors opened and were surprised to find the only seats available were in the last row.... More
