Door County is one of our all-time vacation spots, and Peninsula State Park is at the top of our list of favorite places in the Door. We take our bicycles (with dog baskets) with us, and always manage one or two bike rides, as well as a hike (or two) through the woods. The park is always a favorite for... More

It had snowed the day before I arrived in Fish Creek so I took a drive through the Park and it was simply beautiful. It was single digit weather but I did stop and hike some in the snow just to get a few views and nice photos. This is probably my favorite park no matter what time of the... More

Lots to do here, even in off season. Plenty of places to hike and cross country ski. Camping and boating in the summer with the amenities of Door County. Ice fishing options in the winter.

Beautiful State Park. Many things to see here. If you have time, come at night and watch the bat houses as the bats depart... it's crazy fun. Beautiful overlooks, fun to scoot around, lovely golf course, very nice camping spots, great swimming and trails.

Beautiful long walk through well marked trails. Very busy bike and car traffic. Beach is also very busy.

Beautiful, quiet, serene, the views the views the views! We spotted some wild Tom turkeys, strolled along the shore. Great for snow shoes, or just some heavy duty boots. Don't pass this up!

Great drive and views! Don't look for the tower as it's still on the maps but was taken down. I recommend going to the local market, get some wine and pack a lunch and find a quite spot for lunch!!

There's so much to do here, from the sheer beauty of the drives on back roads to the activities. During the summer, camping sites are booked months in advance, so we were very lucky to get in on a cancellation (always check), but you can still thoroughly enjoy the park without staying. On both Shore Road and Skyline Drive, we... More

The drive through the park is beautiful. There are many places to stop along the way and take pictures of the scenery.
