We enjoyed a lovely May day in the park. We drove the road and hiked a few trails. It's beautifully maintained and has several interesting landmarks. We didn't see much wildlife but it was still early in the season and cool.

My wife and I visited the park in May of 2018. It is a really nice park, that is well taken care of. The lighthouse in the park is a great place to catch the sunset. Would highly recommend it if your in the area.

This is a large, heavily wooded park. However, it is easy to get around in it because there are plenty of places to bike, hike, and drive. Most of the park is an undeveloped natural area (one end has a golf course) and includes Lake...More

Go for a 9-mile bike ride, or hike one of the many winding trails within the beautiful, forested park, surrounded by Lake Michigan. Stop at the Lighthouse for a photo op, and rent a kayak at the beach. Spend at least one full day in...More

A nice state park with paved trails and in season, bicycle rentals. Several facilities were in need of some attention. We were there before season, so hopefully it will look a lot better come Memorial Day.

This park has beautiful views of the bay - including a fun selfie station! Maps at the entrance are useful as there are lots of curvy roads!
