The Historic Noble House is Fish Creek's oldest frame residence and so much more. During our private tour given by a period dressed guide we (our family reunion group of 19) learned about how living in the tiny fishing and shipping village of Fish Creek...More

Visited this during a haunted tour. Wish they wouldnt have SO many people there at one time, it was super hard to walk around and very very crowded. The "guide" was interesting, and drew you in.

Thank you for the review, the ghost tour is a limited view of the home as part of a larger trolley tour. If you want to take in the full tour of the home, come during the day. This year's exhibit will be Victorian Weddings.

It was fun to visit the house during the Ghost Trolley tour and get to see some of the old items and hear about the ghost that may still be around. I'd like to go back and see it during the day now!

Currently this museum has a special exhibit on the customs for funerals in the late 18th century. Have you wondered why funeral parlours have the word parlour in the name, where the saying "For whom the bell tolls" came from, where flower girls originated? The...More

The theme for 2018 was funerals and mourning. Kind of morbid but I’m guessing that a lot of people find it appealing. We had a very nice tour guide who knew a lot about the family history and the building, and it was well worth...More

We enjoyed our visit to the Noble House so much last year (decorated to represent a Victorian Christmas) that we toured it again this past weekend. (This time decorated as a Victorian House in mourning.) Our docent was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we look...More

As a docent myself, I really appreciated such a well preserved and maintained historical house. It was a particular treat that so many of the furnishings belonged to the Noble family. The tour we had was small, and with a wonderful docent, so we were...More

Alexander Noble's house has 80 percent original furniture. His granddaughter who was a physician moved out of the house in 1990--"turned the key and left all the furniture." The volunteer guide knew so much about the house/area. $5 admssion

Spent a rainy day morning having a tour of this great old house -- it gave us a very good introduction to the history of this part of Door County!

Lynn gave us a very interesting and informative tour. She gave real life stories about folks that lived in the house and in Fish Creek.

This was a lovely little house to tour. I could tell that thought was taken when choosing the wallpaper, carpets, and furnishings. There were artifacts throughout the house that did not tie to the house, but instead told the story of historic Door County. The...More
