This place is gorgeous and you must do the whole estate tour. You will feel like you were transported back in time and will learn about two broadway legends. Fascinating tour and beautiful place.

Took the estate tour which was interesting and enjoyable! The guide was knowledgeable and thorough. I didn't know of Alred Lunt and Lynn Fontane but they have a beautiful estate! It was neat to be able to walk in the rooms without ropes.

Ten Chimneys 2017 tour season runs May 14th through December 3rd, Tuesdays - Sundays. The Full Estate Tour (2-hour docent-led tour) is $35 per person and the Main House Tour (1.5-hour docent-led tour) is $28 per person.

Yes! It is about an extra half hour and you see the grounds, gardens, and inside two additional buildings.

I don't think there is an easy way without a car. It is wonderful, in part, because it is out in the countryside. It is about an 40 minute drive. I suppose some cab companies might make that trip, though I can't point you... More
