A very resourceful farmer knocking together bits of wood, metal fencing, plastic sheets and old pig stys and not a H & S notice in sight. I'm going to assume the said farmer grew up in the 60s and 70s, like me and is nostalgic for playing in muddy rivers, crossing precarious bridges, climbing trees and sliding down makeshift slides.... Very good for kids but they need to tone it down how many kids there are here. Its not the trails fault but at 12:00 to 3:00 in the spring to summer it is jam packed, but fair play to the staff, they deal with the congestion down to a minimum. I use the word ride quite loosely as they... More

We visited Crocky with 6 adults and 3 children (12,11&6) on a cold but sunny Saturday. We had a fun hour or so enjoying the slides and rides before joining the trail which was great. The place is like nowhere else we have ever visited and everyone enjoyed themselves. This is not a polished shiny theme park , we did... More

Imagine you are a farmer who has a bit of land and a welding kit, et voila the Crocky Trail. My sister in law organised the trip and we were meeting friends from North wales and Greater Manchester with their kids. When we got there it was rammed and I had a feeling of dread. Noisy, dusty and all the... More

We went on our last day of the school holidays so it very quiet. Which was fantastic as we didn't have to wait to go in anything. As it was that quiet the staff were on hand to help in anyway they could. Nothing was too much trouble. We have had one of the best time ever. The trail is... More

What a great day, we spent just over 4 hours here with an 8, 7 and 5 year old. It was a dry sunny day and the girls loved it. We're from the country but they still enjoyed the walk with all the different bridges and swings. The slides and rides were great fun for them and they ran backwards... More

I took my 4 year old son who had an amazing day. Full day out an fun for adults also. The food in the cafe felt slightly overpriced for the quality. But theres lots of places to have a picnic

£53 for 2 over 60's and three. children aged 5-8. The place was tatty, with uneven surfaces and very little for smaller children as they get squashed and bumped by the older kids. The rides look like they need a good maintenance brush up. The crocky trail itself is not great for small kids either. Not a patch on the... More
