I recommend this for everyone and any age if you enjoy the wilderness you'll enjoy this place. When you get there you see the gift shop where you buy your tickets and then away you go to start your adventure.

They are only open from early May through Labor day, so we didn't get to go this year, but have gone previous years and the kids love it. The favorite part are the baby deer that aren't penned and you can feed and pet them....More

Absolutely loved this place! Had fun seeing all the babies especially the fawns. I am still in awe that I was able to pet such a beautiful, timid creature that even liked my hand. At 4 weeks old it was so precious! Hubby loved the...More

We found $1 off coupons in one of the free hayward lakes travel magazines, sorry I can't remember which one, we picked them up at Walgreens in town before we went. It still cost $58 for 4 adults, but it was worth it.
