We go to Hawyard WI every year and we always make a stop here. This is the best place to visit and enjoy some quality family time. This year was our first time taking our 1 year old, he absolutely loved it! Worth every penny!

They have a good variety of animals between ones in different pens that you walk around & see. To the nursery. Nice trail to walk/follow around the park to see the animals. Along with the different buildings you can go into or look into. A...More

You have to bring the kids. They will have soooo much fun. It is an amazing place especially for those kids that do not get to see many real life outdoor animals. I have taken my children many times and they are now grown and...More

My daughter enjoyed feeding the young animals (goats, fawns, and rabbits), but the rest of the park was in rather rough shape. The pens for the animals are pretty small and I wondered the health of some of the animals. They had black bears, a...More

I was not expecting all the animals they had in there. It is a pretty neat place and would go back again. They have other things to do other than see animals. They had a mystery house, panning for gold, souvenir shops, some food, and...More

My family and I have been visiting the Wilderness Walk for over 20 years. If you are visiting Hayward with kids, this is a must do! You can see everything in under an hour or stay for an afternoon.

I did not expect such a big variety of animals as we found at the Wilderness Walk! It is easy to view the animals and there were extra "fun" things for the kids to do as well as seeing the animals. Loved the Mystery House!...More

My girls loved it they were running from one exhibit to the next. The goats on the tower were our highlight made us laugh. And the staff was very friendly.

We found $1 off coupons in one of the free hayward lakes travel magazines, sorry I can't remember which one, we picked them up at Walgreens in town before we went. It still cost $58 for 4 adults, but it was worth it.
