Beautiful area. View from the tower is spectacular. Nice walk in the woods. They also have some great craft fairs and an annual flea market

Have been visiting since I was a child and always feel spiritually renewed after a visit. This is a Basilica in the Catholic Church and mass may be in progress when visiting.

What a beautiful place to visit! Check the hours and what's open before you go. Quiet and prayerful. When the tower is open, it's worth the walk up for the incredible view. LOTS to see- the Basilica, grounds, the tower- history, beauty, holy ground!

Kids had a great time going up the stairs and looking out the windows to try and fine their house! Can also see downtown Milwaukee from the tower!

Beautiful views all-year-round, but especially in the fall, if you are willing to climb some steps. Good exercise :) Great hiking outside also.

We only went into the basilica, but it was so beautiful with the stained glass & marble. They request silence, and as it should be. Very cool to see. The cafe was closed when we went, but I would have stopped in for a snack.

Even if you are not of a Religious belief you will find the architecture of the buildings and the panoramic scenery of the region absolutely gorgeous. It is always a stunning sight at any time of year, but after the trees lose their leaves you can see for miles and miles in any direction. If you have the energy, the... More
