In the afternoon of April 8, 2017W, my wife Judy and I traveled North on Sheridan Road from our home, turned left on 53rd Street and into the parking lot behind the Museum (Unfortunately, the Handicap parking is furthest from the walkway access.) Upon entering the Museum via the Handicap Entrance, we were treated to an extremely well prepared, exciting... More

Wow! Thanks so much for taking the time to right this wonderful review! It comes as a surprise to many people that some dinosaurs had feathers, or that they're related to modern day birds, and we love sharing those facts with our visitors. It sounds like you really took your time to enjoy the exhibits, and we're so glad you... More

The Dinosaur Discovery Museum packs a lot of dinosaurs and dinosaur evolution into one fairly small room. You will be greeted immediately when you enter the gallery by the toothy grin of a T-rex - it might cause you heart to beat a little faster. But take the time to read about the other specimens, - where were they collected,... More

Thanks for taking the time to share your adventure! Our Museum may be small, but it is jam-packed with information, and actually houses the largest collection of Theropods (meat-eating dinos) in North America. If you really take your time and look at each specimen, you can spend a lot of time here and walk away with a fountain of new... More

The displays are incredible, as well as the information about all of the species. There is a nice gift shop and more to do downstairs for children. Very reasonable admission charge.

Displays were nice, but not worth bringing young children here. There is one small digging area in the basement for children, but its the size of a sandbox. I would recommend the museum having some dinosaur displays that are not just bones for the younger kids.

The love of all things dinosaurs will find its match at the phenomenal dinosaur Museum. So much age appropriate things to look at, touch and learn from. Wonderful way for the whole family to enjoy the day and learn exciting new things.

It is a great little museum for children. The big dinosaur in the museum catches children by surprise. They should open up fossil digs for children and not just school trips. They might also want to add more exibits.

We heard about the Dinosaur Discovery Museum, when we were being given a ride on the streetcars and the pilot/operator told us how good the Dinosaur Discovery Museum was for kids. So, when we came to the streetcar stop, we got off and headed to the museum. In front, are the dinosaur statues which always make for good photos with... More

We visited the Kenosha Dinosaur Discovery Museum on a Friday afternoon. It was a beautiful building and we were welcomed by a really neat statue of a Dilophosaurus standing outside of it. The admission was free with a “suggested” donation of three dollars which we paid before looking over some of the fossils featured in the same foyer. For those... More
