Mars Cheese Castle is a family owned Wisconsin staple and grown tour attraction situated on I-94 between Milwaukee and Chicago. It is a castle that houses many departments including a specialty market offering more than 700 cheeses, wines and specialty items from Wisconsin and around the world, an in house bakery featuring desserts, kringles and breads (famous for its cheese and jalapeno cheese bread) baked daily, a restaurant popular for its many generously portioned cheese & meat sandwiches and featured burger and sandwiches of the month and a pub, well known for it's Wisconsin beers on tap and famous Bloody Mary (don't forget the beer chaser, a Wisconsin tradition!). Don't forget to pick up a souvenir in the gift shop on your way out!

All of the cheese we got was delicious. The staff was super helpful and knowledgable. There's a bar/grill, wine/beer sales, dry goods etc. Plenty of samples and variety.

Was packed, and hard to maneuver around. It is a bit over priced, but they do have a lot of variety. They seem to be expanding like crazy. They have a restaurant and a tavern along with the store.

Nice stop along I-94 for plenty of Wisconsin cheese, beer, pastries and other snacks. The food at the cafe was underwhelming. This is a fun place to stop and shop at for things to take home with you: in addition to the great selection of...More

We drove to Mars Cheese Castle to buy some good cheese, fine wine and different beers. What I was not expecting was the good food we ate at the restaurant. Great sandwiches, fries and different seasonings.

A must see if you're on the highway near Kenosha, WI. It's a huge tourist stop, but not in an obnoxious way. Think a grocery store with just the cheese, beer, and bakery section, add a tavern and a deli and you have the Mars...More

Every time we are in the vicinity, we always stop. Lots to explore and free samples of exotic cheeses. Imported foods and a wide variety of local Kingle pastries. A great 30 min stop.

The cheese castle is always a fun place to stop when we are traveling through the area. They offer a large variety of cheeses, beverages and gifts.

We always stop for some cheese curds and sausage, a few Kringles and some hard rolls to take home. This is the first time we've ordered from their little cafe. We got a beef sandwich and a reuben and their warm potato salad. All delicious...More

Nothing caps if a visit to Wisconsin like a pit stop at the Mars Cheese Castle. Great selection of cheese and bakery items. Newly remodeled store is beautiful and more spacious than before. Many samples available at busier times. A little pricey, but the nicest...More
