This is a well done, little history center without an admission cost. Easy to take seniors (no stairs) or youngsters (even in strollers). It's not busy with crowds or overwhelming. So everything is easy to see and you can take as long as you like. Only a few galleries so it's best to tie in with another visit in the... More

This museum is definitely worth a visit. I learned a lot about Kenosha's history. The automotive history in Kenosha is definitely something that had national impact. So, it is not just something that would be interesting to a local.

One interesting point is the review of the industry that had been in Kenosha where they were located, and what has happened to the buildings since.

The Kenosha History Center has some interesting things and some history of the City of Kenosha, WI. They have a nice section on Nash Automobiles in Kenosha. Also you can get a stamp for the lighthouse next door if it's closed

The Kenosha History Center is a great example of how entertaining it can be to see what live used to be like, especially where you live so you can compare the changes. That it is free, with easily accessible parking and located on the harbor makes it all even better. Granted it is not on the trolley loop like the... More

My sister and I took our father here during one of his visit's home. He could have spent all day there. As a resident of Kenosha for most of his adult life, he had some great stories about the industries represented in the museum.

Very nice and it's free. My husband liked the Nash auto displays and I liked all the different sections like the old time school display and the dentist office& barber shop etc. Very impressive.

I had heard about the other museums in Kenosha but not this one and I was so pleasantly surprised! I visited on a snowy Saturday and was the only person there. The man working was very friendly. There was so much to look at (easily spent longer here than I did at the Public Museum) and really detailed write ups.... More

We actually enjoyed our walk through here much more than expected. It was a nice history of the city, it's past industry and the history of both the Nash and Rambler automobile. A display of old original cars, trucks and emergency vehicles were also. displayed. They were in the process of changing the displays in one of the areas so... More

A great museum right on Lake Michigan that pays tribute to the history of Kenosha. There is a lot to learn, sometime very surprising things, when you visit.
