We enjoyed three walks through the park during our short weekend away in Lacrosse. The sunsets were beautiful and we loved watching boats and barges go by. Also enjoyed a concert in the park on a Saturday evening!

Wonderful little park with Chinese Garden, plenty of benches, music in the park every Wednesday during the summer, restaurants near by and million lights and xmas decorations in December put up by Rotary Club.

This is one of the most peaceful places to be along the river. The park is a great place to walk and see the traffic along the river. There's also the International Garden just off the main path and it is beautifully maintained all summer...More

After driving all day it was a refreshing and relaxing break to walk and sit by the river and watch the sun go down. Don't skip the beautiful gardens on the north end that highlight many varieties of flowers and greenery.

A great place to stroll or sit and enjoy the river and watch boaters and barges go by. Lots of concerts in the summer. International gardens representing La Crosses sister cities offer a beautiful refuge.

We visit La Crosse quite often and always find time to visit and to sit a spell and watch the river. This time was a real treat...the American Queen was in town for a brief stopover. This ship was quite impressive. Not to be missed...More

Spent two days in Lacrosse and this park and walkway was a big part of it. Great time just strolling by the Mississippi. Highly recommend this for all water lovers.

As I recall, I did see a dog being walked on a leash on the sidewalk. I don't actually know the rules but I'm sure they would have to be kept on the sidewalk as not to soil the area where people sit and children play... More
