This lovely 21-mile walking path, around Geneva Lake, takes pedestrians by impressive homes and quiet lakeside neighborhoods. A two-mile swath on the West End offers a manageable stroll, lovely views, and passes landmarks such as the Abbey Resort and Fontana Spa and popular local eateries like Chuck's.

Walked the shoreline from the Geneva Inn. It is a little tricky walking, lots of roots and uneven ground. Be careful, go slow and enjoy the sights.

My friends and I went to a restaurant by the bay and walked around the Lake for a few minutes. We saw how chill it is. It must be nice to have a lakehouse around here. The gardens are not bad either. I love the...More

We walked from the town heading south (past the Stone Manor) towards the Big Foot Beach State Park. We didn't make it that far. We lost the path when we hit a road so turned around and went back. I am guessing that the homeowners...More

The Lake Geneva Lake Path is readily accessible from Library Park. Head to the right and just keep going. Some parts are narrow, and the terrain can get uneven and hilly. Bring a camera, drinking water, wet wipes and snacks if you are taking a...More

We FINALLY got to experience part of this 26 mile trail - and can't wait to go back until we've covered it all. If you walk the south edge starting at Lake Geneva's downtown park, in one easy hour walk's time, you'll be able to...More

What a lovely walk. We walked both sides of the path from the town of Lake Geneva for about a mile and a half. Some of the path was difficult to access with small children or adults with accessibility issues. We carried a stroller over...More

This is not your everyday "walk in the park" path. If starting form Lake Geneva the path is paved and wide. From there it winds along the lake curving through and across private property occasionally veering away from the lake but always nearby. The path's...More

Completed the hike around the lake yesterday with my 73-year-old mom! We did 21.2 miles in 8 hours and 30 minutes. It is a wonderful activity, but you need to be in shape. I recommend you start early. We hit the trail at 6:08 am....More

Biking is not allowed on the trail. However, it is much better to slow down and enjoy the trail at a walking pace, as there are many spots you'll want to stop and take in the sights.
