Great biking or hiking trail, lots of stops in small towns along the way. My wife and I like the wildlife, rivers, and quiet. We will take a trip off the trail to enjoy a cold beer and cheese curds at the many towns that...More

I began my bike ride at the Waukesha end of the Glacial Drumlin rather than at its Western end. The trailhead is well-marked with plenty of parking and rest rooms. Within minutes, this paved trail ducks into a nature preserve and continues through a mix...More

We have traveled all parts of the trail at various times. We live just off the trail in Lake Mills but moved here from near Dousman. The 2+ hour trip from Dousman to Lake MIlls is sunny and full of great views. The trip from...More

We visited in late May, and the flowers and wildlife were amazing. Sandhill cranes, egrets, great blue herons, indigo buntings, 13 line ground squirrels, and Canada geese were in abundance. The trail surface is mostly crushed limestone. "Crushed limestone" is different than "gravel" - it...More

I love the way Wisconsin bike trails are clearly labeled and easy to find for out of state travelers. There is parking. This does not happen all over the US. This trail is beautiful to ride. There are small towns along the route. We felt...More

By foot or by bike, traveling the Glacial Drumlin trail is relaxing. Be on the lookout for wildlife and eventually the beautiful sight of Rock Lake.

I've ridden my bike on the trail a couple times. It is a nice trial with good places to stop along the way. Not the best scenery compared to the other southern Wisconsin recreational bike trails - but the trail surface is good and easy...More
