This review isn't strictly about the domes themselves, but the Winter Farmers Market which is held seasonally (dates between November and April) in the greenhouse annex of the Mitchel Park Domes. As a foodie, a number of friends recommended I visit the market and I...More

Our Milwaukee friends took us to Mitchell Park Conservatory for their indoor winter Farmer's Market. Wow, what a great place. Various vendors selling cheese, ice cream, vegetables, soup mixes, eggs, fish, meat, coffee, and waffles! Some vendors are there every week, while others are not.

This is a nice place to bring your family, especially if the weather is challenging. The descriptions should be interesting to all ages, and children should enjoy seeing several different environments. I visited in the evening and one of the domes had a very nice...More

Basically had the place to myself. Had a nice walk thru all the domes and an excellent conversation in the tropical dome with their horticulturalist. Thank you for everything you guys do✊🌎💧🌱💐🌺🐦🦎🐢🐛🐌

Great time for everyone one in the family. Three Domes, one arid, one tropical and one seasonal. Halloween’s up and lots of pumpkins. I’m like a kid in here. I love the birds, I love the fauna and everything in between. Most everything is marked...More

It has a good collection in the desert section. info on the socio aspects thru crops is good. We have been to the Eden project in UK, so expectations were different. Still, a good visit for the nominal entry price.

I enjoy going to the Domes. I enjoy the nature that they show. Their show dome changes about every few months.

We were in Milwaukee for vehicle servicing and decided to spend it doing something fun while waiting for the dealer to finish his job. The zoo was only going to be open for another 1 1/2 hours and they wanted to charge us $14.50 each...More

Not bad for the conservatory but the should add some outdoor garden to view. Not to bad of admission prices. Good in the winter time.

Unfortunately those two (Tropical and Desert Exhibitions) are still closed. They are saying that they might open in fall. The admission is $3.00 for every person until the other two domes are open. The only one that is open... More

Yes, that would be a wonderful time to see the Domes - get out of the cold and enjoy the warmth and color of the beautiful flowers. Great little gift shop, too!
