This place is truly magical. Staff are friendly, polite and very helpful. They have a small sitting area and a gift shop with plants, ornaments and kid friendly toys. There were three domes: Desert, Tropical and Show. Each dome has an interactive scavenger hunt that...More

On a sunny zero degree day this is a pleasant spot to spend some time. The show dome still had the holiday display. The warm and humid tropical dome displayed world wide specimens. Then to cool off, the desert dome was quite the contrast. They...More

Four of us visited the Domes during a Winter visit to Milwaukee. We all loved all three domes. There were interesting plants and it was a great indoor activity for a not-very-nice day. There were many children in the Domes but they were all well...More

I grew up near Milwaukee and always wanted to see the domes. I had heard they were considering closing them and thought I had missed my chance. They are still there, they are still open, and it was fascinating to visit.

I didn't really know what to expect. It costs $7 to enter. There are three dome greenhouses - a show dome with rotating themes (the theme for autumn was a 1960's flower power theme), a desert dome, and a tropical dome. I was amazed by...More

Loved the domes. Can't wait for Christmas extravaganza. Clean beautiful, safe place to take kids, too. IT's plants so older kids may understand and like it better than the wee ones. It's beautiful. Go.

Enjoyable cold afternoon trip. You can go to the movies or you can stop here. Go with the change of pace and stretch your legs.

Yes, that would be a wonderful time to see the Domes - get out of the cold and enjoy the warmth and color of the beautiful flowers. Great little gift shop, too!
