There is lots to do at the zoo all year round. Fun to see some animals play in the snow. The summer sea lion show and bird shows are great along with the petting zoo.

Typically people for the first time spend 4-6 hours if you want to see everything.

You ALL need to be in the same vehicle. I have her family + pass so when I go I take a large SUV this way we can all get in 1 vehicle for free ( parking included in the + plass really helps)

Yes there are picnic tables inside the zoo area that you can sit at.
