I loved visiting this area of town, there was a huge Christmas tree up on display, a friendly local talked to us and the buildings had some great architectural features. Fonze looks great and is a throwback to my childhood so how could I not say ahhhyyyyy. Although parking was a bit of a pain as is most in a... More

This is on the river walk in downtown Milwaukee near the tourist boat docks. Take a selfie with him.

Statue of Henry Winkler's character, "The Fonz" from the Happy Days TV show. Now a local landmark in Milwaukee. Happy Days was loosely based in Milwaukee (as was Laverne and Shirly).

Stopped by the Fonz on NYE. Didn't expect the statue to be so small, but as it turns out it is the actual height of the actor. What a fun find in Milwaukee.

Have a beautiful walk along the Milwaukee River downtown and see the bridges, (seasonal) boats and water. The walkway is renovated and nice, dotted with restaurants, bars, gyms, theaters, offices and brought to life with permanent art like the Bronze Fonz. He is shorter than you think and so cool he is stone cold!

Not much to see but it's a bronze version of Fonzie from "Happy Days," which was based in Milwaukee. Take a picture or a selfie and keep walking along the riverfront trails.

This is popular because of the TV character. It is a good likeness, or even a remotely good piece of art. More like kitsch. That being said, if you are in the neighborhood, and you like kitsch, why not?

No trip to Milwaukee's RiverWalk is complete without a selfie with the Fonz. Famous from the 1970's TV show "Happy Day's" Fonzie has been a fixture on Milwaukee's Riverwalk across the river from the Rock Bottom Brewery for years.

A must if you are a Happy Days/ Henry Winkler fan. It is a simple statue but displays the characteristics of the Fonz. Good photo opportunity!

This doesn't look like Henry Winkler and it is lucky I knew what the statute was referencing. I guess I know why Milwaukee thought this was a good idea - no, actually I don't.
