What an incredible showpiece this gorgeous Mansion is! From its commanding hilltop locale to the intricate details in all of the oak woodworking & stained glass throughout. There are 3 beautiful floors to enjoy. Plus a stunning stained glass ceiling above the stairway. We were lucky enough to visit during the holiday season so it was bedecked with colorful Christmas... Had heard how beautiful the mansion was and how ahead of its time it truly was. very elite and unique. Something to see if historic buildings are your thing.

Loved seeing the Pabst mansion all decked out for the holidays. What a gem in Milwaukee and so appreciated all the restoration work. Keep up the great work and we look forward to returning to see more progress.

I thought this was pretty interesting but we did the self guided tour (all that was available on the Friday after Thanksgiving). It took about 40 minutes and we really went slow asking many questions of the nice docents. For $12 a piece it seemed a little over priced.

This home was built with the conveniences of way before it's time. The owner thought of everything and was such a supporter of the city of Milwaukee. Don't miss it!

We enjoyed the history that was presented in this tour. The tour started with a cold beer to enjoy while we learned the history of the family, beer and the mansion. It seemed to be going under some renovations, but it didn't stop the tour. Be careful, they will close for weddings or events with only a sandwich board out... More

Very interesting, even though restoration is not yet complete. Carolyn, our tour guide, encouraged questions, was very enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable. There is a small gift shop.

The preserved home of Captain Frederick Pabst, founder of the Pabst Brewery, is a must see attraction in Milwaukee. Situated just west of the downtown area, the three floors of the mansion hold many of Capt. Pabst's memoribilia, and artifacts of the Victorian age, when he lived here. It is also an example of uncommon wealth of that period. The... More

Beautifully restored home of the Pabst family. Wonderful tour with engaging docent. Restorations continue and I eagerly anticipate visiting again in a few years to see the progress.

See it, feel it, touch it. Seems you can almost talk to the people that lived and worked there. A wonderful glimpse into a different place and time. Not an all day thing, more like a couple of hours, max, so very easy to do for a fun, little afternoon jaunt.
