This is a beautiful house with many original belongings of the Pabst family. There were interesting details like hops buds on the base of the staircase, where pineapples would usually be. It was nice learning about the family as we toured their house. The people were so nice too and helped us with other sightseeing. Helpful to know that tours... More

Wisconsin Avenue used to be lined with about 60 mansions, many of them owned by beer barons. The Pabst Mansion is the only one remaining. Many of the furnishings are original to the house or came from a relative. The rooms have been wonderfully restored with a few left to work on. The docents are very knowledgeable.

Amazing Turn of the Century (1900) mansion built with amazing attention to detail. Great view into both the Milwaukee upper crust, the brewing industry, and a great civic/community minded family. Definitely will take family there in the future. Well worth the price, the visit, the time.

Great tour of this grand old Milwaukee mansion. It is great to have a piece of Milwaukee's history restored. Unbelievable hand carved wood furnishings throughout the home. Makes it hard to imagine living in so much elegance.

Make sure you engage the guides so that you understand the rich history of the mansion. The structure is stunning. The mansion is beautifully decorated during the holiday season. If possible, make your visit a holiday tradition.

The Pabst Mansion has great architecture and fabulous Milwaukee history. So many cool details, knowledgeable docents. If you have never been to visit, you definitely should. You won't be disappointed. Ask the docent about the cow delivered right through the front door as a gift :)

We were fortunate to be in Milwaukee prior to Christmas to see the interesting Pabst Mansion. All the rooms were decorated beautifully for the holiday. You will be instantly dawn to the house once you glimpse the unique style. The rooms are all renovated to what they must have looked like back in the 1800's. It is self guided and... More

This is a beautifully restored mansion that belonged to one of the country's iconic beer families. The work is still in progress but the guides do a superb job of telling the story. If you are in Milwaukee, this is a must see attraction.

We heard about the holiday decor at the Pabst Mansion while on a family visit to Milwaukee and decided to stop in after lunch downtown. Each room was decorated differently, and while there were no official tours scheduled for the holidays, the docents were located on each floor and many times, they not only answered our questions, but gave us...
