I'm always looking for something to do when my 87-year-old mother comes to visit. I had heard about this small unique museum and thought I should give it a try. It is filled with memorabilia and every day items starting with the World War I...More

very interesting and educational. after the tour you are free to go back and look around on your own. would not recommend for younger children as this is more ow key and educational but very interesting for adults that enjoy "days gone past"

The Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear is a wonderful museum stop if visiting or living in the Milwaukee area. The museum items are displayed beautifully and some displays and themes are changed throughout the year. I live 15 minutes from the museum and have visited multiple...More

The tours here are very fun and in depth. I learned far more than I thought I would walking through. Museum feels very homey too, likely because it's in a house after all.

Thank you for writing a review and we are glad you found the museum entertaining and informative! The historic building is about double or triple the square footage of a usual Milwaukee house from the time period!

This very small and cosy museum is definitely worth a visit. We have been there on a Saturday afternoon and got a great tour around the house with a lot of funny stories. There is a big collection of things you would not think about...More

Thank you for finding and exploring our museum. It is in a large, historic house with many open displays of original items. The collection is so large, we have to rotate displays. We are very please you enjoyed your tour and we appreciate the review!

This is a very nice and well-cared for museum with a very large collection of interesting and nicely displayed objects. It takes between 1-2 hours to go through, and at $6 per adult, was well worth the admission. While we choose the self-guided tour option,...More

We heard about this after seeing a documentary about it. Mr. Chudnow kept hundreds of things he collected over the years, mostly memorabilia from the 30's - 50's. Joel gave us a wonderful tour, with knowledge of where and when many of the things came...More

For a small entrance fee you get to see the past; you see the everyday items of the past. So many items that back then might not have had too much value, but today they are these obsolete things from the old times. And yeah,...More

Thank you for making us a part of your anniversary plans! Glad you are sharing your photographs and will bring some more friends. We change rooms around often and change which toys are displayed every September.

We totally enjoyed seeing the Chudnow Museum. It is unique in that you can walk into the rooms and hit buttons to hear recordings of old time commercials, etc. The person working at the museum was very informative also.
