I will always go to the Oriental first when they are playing a movie that I want to see. The organ on Saturday nights is a plus, and the atmosphere is out of this world. Keep it up!

Perfect place to step into the past and feel a bit of Milwaukee history. They show worthwhile movies and you can even enjoy a glass of wine.

This is a vintage Art Deco theater that specializes in indie movies. There is delicious crispy popcorn here, and the snack selection is eclectic. The largest theater is something to behold and will keep newcomers occupied before the movies start.

Oriental Theater isn't known by all in Milwaukee but it's one of the coolest little chic places around. Not only does it have movies, but it is also a great place that hosts speakers and lectures.

For anyone who appreciates the vintage theater experience, The Oriental is worth a visit. Try to catch a movie in the "main room" -- the center theater (it's a Triplex now) -- so you can watch a movie while all the Buddhas watch You. The...More

You have to go to the Oriental and see a movie and see what this theatre is all about. It is very old/ornate and will fascinate you. Beautiful gold ornate statues, two stories, and always has a good movie or two playing. Popcorn and refreshments...More
