Recently had an appointment downtown so I made time to visit some of my old stomping grounds. This is still a great area for a stroll and some window shopping. Plenty of unique shops and cafes and restaurants. Home to the Milwaukee Public Market, which...More

Had breakfast in one of the restaurants, then walked along the streets window shopping and stopping to shop. This is a nice little area to get out and about.

The Third Ward is one of our favorite areas to visit in Milwaukee. So many breweries, bars, restaurants, distilleries and shops to visit! There is always something going on. Be sure to check out the Peddle Tavern!!

The architure was amazing. The river walk was a healthy outing with enjoyable artwork. The area has multiple resturaunts, the public market and shops.

Definately take a tour. Fun to see from the water too. Upscale and trendy restaurants and shops. Was much closer to downtown than I thought.

We toured the third ward on foot with the help of a local guide. Moderately interesting history but great to see the rejuvenation of a downtrodden area. Riverfront area great to see with several places to grab a drink or bite to eat.

I would go to the art museum and eat there. Pretty lake views even if art isn't your thing. And there are a couple of places to eat there that have good quality food.

I was there over the Labor Day weekend and they had a huge Arts and Crafts show, and live music. Their were quite a few family's there but the weather was perfect, what time of year are you going?
