What to do around Neenah on a cold Winterday. Beautiful location ; at the lake and in the historical area. It had snowed quite a bit. Parking lot right at the building. Beautiful temporary contemporary exhibit of neon glass. The museum itself had a beautiful collection of paperweights and all kind of glass art as well as historical international glassware.

My aunts were visiting from Detroit and, while the girls were in school, we decided to visit the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum. It was impressive and the staff was knowledgeable about the exhibits and the actual history of the home. Unfortunately, we came at an in-between-exhibits time, but the permanent glass art was beautiful. We all have a new respect for glass... More

I have been to this museum numerous time since I moved here in 1970. Has a lot of history from the Bergstrom family and is noted for the collection of their paperweights. My girls took art classes here when they were young and I'm sure a lot has been added in the following years. Still enjoy going there and it... More

My husband and I stopped into this little gem, for a little peek. The exhibits are impressive, we did not expect to see the amount of exhibits. The paperweights are amazing the time that it takes to make just one is outstanding. The light exhibit is also impressive. We made a stop in the gift shop and were able to... More

If you like pretty paperweights this is the place to come. It's a small museum full of paperweights with many different styles, colors, sizes, and intricacies. You'll definitely want to step back and forward, and up and down while viewing to see all the differences in artwork. The setting in the mansion on the lake is beautiful.

The Bergstrom-Mahler Museum is a gem hidden in Neenah. Regular displays of glass art, including films are very interesting. Our children grew up taking art classes there. New programs of interest are available regularly.
