What a find! Beautiful displays in an astounding facility. EAA and it's annual air venture event has a world-wide reputation among aviation buffs. The airport becomes the busiest on the planet for one week each year. No matter when you're in Oshkosh you can catch a glimpse of the excitement in this delightful museum.

We stopped on a whim, (none of us into aviation) thinking this would be a small collection of models and pictures. We stayed 4 hours and could have spent more time. There were hundreds of planes on display- actual and full scale replicas. Lots of pictures, log books, accessories, military memorabilia. Interactive displays fun for all ages, simulators too. An... This is my fifth-rated aviation museum, but don't take that as a negative. First is National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, second and third are the National Air and Space Museums in Washington D.C. & Dulles Airport, fourth place is the Museum of Flight in Seattle. During the summer months the place is pretty busy and... More

We were there early on an October Saturday - hardly any other visitors. One of our group uses a wheelchair, so we appreciated the easy access and conveniently located elevators. Plan to spend 2 -3 hours here - lots to see. We really enjoyed the kids' area, even though we were all adults. Lots of fun to try the different... More

We are members of the EAA so we get into the museum for free. This weekend adventure was a display on nose art painted on the noses of various air planes from bygone era. It was very interesting. Many aircraft from various decades in aviation history.

Mandatory visit for your Oshkosh Airventure Experience. Lots of people at this time but that is the character of Oshkosh. Check the speakers' program and plan your visit. Easy to navigate around the museum. Take the bus. Pioneer village is nearby. So much to see in the museum.

We had a good time looking around and learning about the history of aviation. There was a lot to see. Unfortunately, there was a chemical smell (paint or something similar) which was overbearing and so we left after 45 minutes with headaches. We'll visit again sometime when they're not renovating.

Good afternoon. My name is Amy Reese and I'm the marketing manager at EAA. I was very sorry to hear that your visit was cut short due to the refurbishing of the floor in the museum. I'm pleased that you enjoyed what you were able to see and would like to discuss what we could do for you so that... More
