The Grand is an absolutely beautiful little theater, restored to it's glory (probably better than original) by the good people of the Oshkosh community. It's intimate and comfortable. The bar in the upper level is a good new addition. Catch a show here if you can, and if the bar is open, check it out after the show. Carl the... More

This is a quaint little old-time theater that has live quality shows that make a trip here from wherever well worthwhile. Just pick a performance that fits your fancy, sit back, and enjoy.

We went to a concert there. The decor is very interesting, loved the old wallpaper! There is parking across the street. The bathrooms were good and larger than I expected. There is a lounge/bar upstairs where the balcony seating is. However, the actual seats in the theater are not made for normal sized people! Anyone over the size of a... More

As time goes on, I'm becoming more and more of a theatre goer. Part of it is for the shows themselves but (truth be told) another aspect is that I really enjoy discovering / visiting beautiful old restored / preserved places like this one. The Grand Opera House isn't as "grand" and opulent / ostentatious as some places I've visited.... More

An historic building lovingly restored by the people of Oshkosh. The seats are a bit smallish, because they are the original ones and people were, well, smaller back then. If you're a little larger, it would be a good idea to purchase a box seat. The acoustics are fantastic.

We enjoyed a performance of "The Spitfire Grill" here and thoroughly enjoyed the show. The theater is smaller and we enjoyed the quaintness of it. Our only complaint was that an usher allowed a couple to be seated in the front row after the lights had gone down and the opening scene had started. It definitely interrupted the flow and... More

What a beautiful opera house. It's great that this place has been preserved. We saw The Spitfire Grill performance. Very talented actors and a wonderful way to spend the evening. I plan to return to see other performances.

The Grand Opera house is a cultural and historical staple in Oshkosh. They often have local theatre groups perform plays, and they all do a great job. I would definitely recommend this as a "night out", you won't be disappointed.
