We walk and bike this trail all the time. It is beautiful. Grab a map as it is easy to get turned around if you are not familiar. The trail winds all around the city and through many parks. Best ridden

My favorite trail runs around the lake starting across the Street from SentryWorld. Trails are well maintained and include gravel, wood chip and boardwalk. No steep grades to climb, but a neat little observation tower for those so inclined. Deer and squirrels seem to be the most prevalent critters. Keep an eye out for others too. 98% of the bikers... I spend lots of time on the green circle. The nice thing about it is that there are pieces throughout the city so you could jump on in many places. Overall the green circle is safe but it's good to take the typical precautions for a remote place in an urban area. I carry bear spray but have never had... More

Our family has been on most of the trail that encompasses Stevens Point either on foot or bike. Great way to enjoy nature and get exercise!

This is the only reason the Stevens Point Area is half livable. The trail takes you along some nice country with much in the form of wildlife and trees. It's almost possible to realize you're not surrounded by some of the worst people and scenery that Wisconsin has to offer.

With the trail perfectly suited for walking and biking, my favorite part is lengthy section along the Wisconsin river. With almost no buildings in site, you can enjoy a very long stretch of our beautiful, pristine rivers edge and all of the wildlife that thrives in these protected areas.

Nice trail through miles around town. The different extentions lead you through woods and rivers and mixed gravel and paved area's. Great for hiking or biking.

You can either walk the whole trail or part of it. It is nice to find a place where you can still observe nature. However, in the summer, the bugs take over the trails.
