We visited Cave County Park for the first time in winter. The "ice sculptures" were gorgeous! The view is breath taking.

Right on the shore of Lake Michigan, Cave Point is a very scenic and great place to explore. Great trails meander along the shoreline. Wonderful place to spend a few hours in nature. It was our first time here, but we will return when we...More

This was most crowded day I have ever seen here. Photographers, families, couples, everywhere looking at what wind and cold does here. You can easily tell how the caves were formed by Mother Nature here over thousands of years.

If in Door County this park is a must see. Views are incredible. We loved walking on the trail along the bluffs. Took lots of incredible photos/videos of the waves crashing against the bluffs. We happened to be there on a very windy day so...More

It is a must see place. If you go to White Fish Dunes State Park, come here as well. View the Niagara Escarpment. In the right light Lake Michigan has Caribbean blue water.

Wisconsin is a beautiful state and this park is amazing. I hope you get to visit! Bring a camera and good walking shoes.

One side of the peninsula drops off into Lake Michigan while the other side gently slopes down to Green Bay. This is due to the underlying bedrock of the peninsula itself! Here is a great vantage point to observe the former. There is a nice...More

Cave Point is gorgeous. Not only is the cave a must see, but walking through the trails and along the waterfront reveals more and more great views.

It is amazing what force the lake produces on the shoreline. The waves crash and water spews up in pretty rainbows if the light is right. Lovely fall day when we were there. Have seen pictures of the ice in the winter.

The water is a little rough for swimming. At least when we were there. There's not a good beach. It's all those rocks.

I've only been in the summer. I would guess that it would be beautiful but cold and possibly slippery. Dress warm and wear good boots with traction. Also it is probably very windy so something water/wind resistant.
