Don't miss this beautiful view!!! The park has even, good hiking grounds and are good for kids. My husband and I went out of the park and did more rugged hiking. We loved this but it is not for kids! The tree root systems are...More

My son was here a few weeks ago and wanted to go back again so he could jump off the cliffs into Lake Michigan. There were lots of people there having picnics and swimming. It was a very good experience!

The outfitter we spoke to warned us of this County Park--expect it to be busy. It was. The parking lot was 3/4 full and the water front was the attraction. No wonder. The cave jumping was the attraction and it drew a teenage crowd that...More

This was the highlight of our Door County trip for our 'tweenage sons. The water was high and calm when we were there, allowing for cliff jumping. Our sons could have done it all day. There was also another area where the less adventurous could...More

The water is a little rough for swimming. At least when we were there. There's not a good beach. It's all those rocks.

I've only been in the summer. I would guess that it would be beautiful but cold and possibly slippery. Dress warm and wear good boots with traction. Also it is probably very windy so something water/wind resistant.
