Seven of us tubed wth Jack's down the Namekagon River. The equipment was clean and maintained, the staff friendly, the river clean, the adventure wonderful. While it is safe even for little kids and there are no real rapids, it is a pleasant adventure where...More

Last year my daughter and I canoed on July 4th. This year my friend and I paddled a little longer trip, and had as much fun. We put in for a 3 hour paddle, rented a canoe, and launched with my sister's in laws. There...More

I was there the Sunday before Labor Day and the were busy, but despite that the staff was friendly, polite and efficient. We rented kayaks for the 3 -3 1/2 long paddle. My kayak was great and had a water-resistant hold in it. My companion's...More

My daughter and I were looking forward to a nice day on the river. We had each paddled most of the Namekagon; she more recently than I, and my last trip was 35 years ago. We rented two sit on top kayaks, which proved light,...More

Rented a canoe for 3 days from Seeley to Trego and these folks were terrific. Although, we would recommend putting in at Hayward Dam and skipping the 2 portages that are between Seeley and Hayward since the river has lots of houses still at that...More

While tubing the Namekagon River is very relaxing, Jacks Canoe Rental also will deliver paddleboards to surrounding area lakes. That's great for cabin people that don't bring boats but have kids who want to do something new.

Great time! How can you not have fun tubing down the river! River travels at nice pace. Shallow enough my 8 year old could stand up in most parts of river. Friendly and helpful staff. We'll run operation.

Both times are very nice. The end of the season is great because of the color change of the leaves. The water levels are typically good for both.

Yes, the Namekagon River flows at around 3mph, making it a good start for beginners. Slower moving water to Class I rapids can be found on most sections. Big Bend to Trego would be a good starting trip.
