Great service

Unless you have your own boat or plane, take the ferry or swim. Efficient and safe service to the Island.

We ride the ferry often and it is unique each time. If you go make sure yo go to the observation deck. The views are spectacular.

We took the ferry to Washington Island while on an organized cycling tour. There is ample parking and the ferry schedule was on time. We found it easy to transport our bikes on the ferry and enjoyed the ride.

I'm not really sure how to rate this. It was a ferry ride to the Island and back. The water was a little rough on the way there, but we felt safe and secure. The trip there took longer than the trip back, but they were on time to leave for the next leg regardless. I suppose they plan for... More

These guys know what they are doing. They packed every car wanting a spot on the last boat going to the mainline Sunday night. They worked and squeezed and figured a way to leave no one behind. The crossing was smooth and the docking barely a bump as we pulled in. They clear out everyone quickly and safely. The price... More

Wife insisted on the Ferry to Washington Island. Although it was Sunday it was still pretty full. It's a ferry so there are stairs - if you have mobility issues - you might just stay in your car or view from the bottom level, sorry. There are no frills as it's a small ferry, but plenty of seating and the... More

We were there after the tourist season had ended. The brochure said to get there 15 minutes before loading. I would recommend even earlier. The majority of cars were already in line to load by the time we arrived. The staff person directing the loading was friendly. The round trip cost, although expected, is pricey, to me. More than $60... More

We went there at 2.30PM from Door county and last ferry back from Washington Island to door county was at 5PM. It's cost 90$ for car of 5 people. The duration of single ferry trip is half an hour. The view is good at sunset times. The ferry ship can hold almost 12 cars. Too small when compared to Ferry... More

Take your car to this island. Beautiful drive and easy to navigate. Can cover a lot of sights and sounds in a few hours. Enjoy the island life style.

The ferry ride with your vehicle is a must (so you can go where you want on the island). Get to the dock about 1/2 hour before scheduled departure as the ferry does not hold a lot of vehicles. About 3 cars were left behind to wait for the next ferry. The ferry left on time and took about 30... More
